This one day course is designed to enable you to build upon the knowledge and skills you gained from attending the two day Vehicle electrical fault finding techniques course.

During the course, you will apply what you have learnt when resolving electrical problems. Course content includes the following main subjects:

  • Review of fault finding techniques.
  • Information gathering and fault symptoms analysis.
  • Formulating fault finding strategies.
  • Workshop sessions: diagnose faults on   live vehicles.

The course begins with a review of fault finding techniques and an appreciation of the importance of information gathering and careful analysis of fault symptoms.

During the course, you will learn how to formulate fault finding strategies based upon the fault symptoms and available information. You will diagnose electrical faults on live vehicles in a workshop environment..

By the end of the course, you will be able to implement techniques for diagnosing faults in a more cost effective way that minimises vehicle down time and reduces costs for customers and vehicle repair businesses alike.

The course shows how combine use of test tools and diagnostic equipment in conjunction with wiring diagrams and workshop information in a practical environment.
